
This warranty applies to Built-in Water Filter Tap (hereinafter 'Product').
This warranty applies to defects which have arisen only from faulty materials or workmanship
in the Product, but it does not apply to defects which may have arisen, and without limitation,
as a result of the following: faulty installation or repair, intentional or accidental damage,
unauthorized modification or alteration, abuse, misuse including the use of non-drinkable
water or well water, maltreatment including deterioration or less-hygienic maintenance,
clogging, degradation of consumables, (such as washers, filter, check valve or ceramic valve),
abnormal stress or strain, harsh or adverse weather conditions, including excessive water
pressure or temperature, or living climate including bedewing or pollution.
Any installations and/or repairs of the Product shall be undertaken by an accredited and
licensed service agent or technician in the field.
To make a warranty claim, this warranty leaflet must be exhibited to a service agent arranged
by a retailer or Takagi Australia Pty Ltd (‘Takagi Australia’).
The leaflet, together with other documentation, must prove: i) date of purchase, ii) name of
the retailer and iii) your contact details. Please contact Takagi Australia directly if you
experience any difficulties with contacting your retailer for any reason.
Information stated in this warranty leaflet does not limit any legal rights of the customer.
Should you have any inquiries please do not hesitate to contact us irrespective of the
warranty period.
This warranty for the Product (excluding water filter) commences from the date of purchase
for 2 year, and further 3 more year as an optional extended warranty period which can be
obtained on-line at (www.taqua.com.au) Please keep this leaflet safe as Takagi Australia will
not reissue the leaflet.
(Warning: The water filter must be replaced regularly.)
*Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for
any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.
Initially, please contact your built-in water filter tap installer to confirm that the worktop is
level, the cut-out is correct and the built-in water filter tap has been installed correctly.

If a warranty service technician finds that the Product does not have a fault within the
definition under Australian Consumer Law, Takagi Australia reserves the right to pass on any
callout fee to the user.*
